About the project
This one started as bare dirt along the side and back of the house. We dug and poured new footings, set posts and framed the platform so it sits level with the back door and wraps around the corner of the house. The decking is low maintenance composite in a warm brown, with matching stairs down to the walkway and a small landing at the side door. Railings are redwood with black wire mesh panels, which keeps the yard visible instead of boxing the deck in.
