About the project
The kitchen inside an ADU we built from the ground up. The layout wraps two walls with an island in the middle, so a small footprint still gets full counter space and room to move. High gloss white cabinets run to the ceiling with brushed gold pulls, and the counters and backsplash are quartz in a veined calacatta pattern, with the island top mitered for a thicker edge. A gas range with a chimney hood sits on the back wall, and skylights plus glass pendants keep the room bright through the day. Hardwood flooring runs through the kitchen and out into the living space.
